Exness Pro vs Raw Spread vs Zero: How Cashback Works on Each
Short answer: all three accounts earn cashback, but it is generated differently. On Pro, which has no trading commission, the partner commission is a share of the spread, so the cashback moves with the spread — XAUUSD returns up to $5.93 per lot. On Raw Spread and Zero, the cashback is not a percentage of the trading commission you pay: it is 90% of a fixed amount that Exness pays the partner per lot, per side — up to $2.70 on XAUUSD.

Pro vs Raw Spread vs Zero at a glance
Pro is a spread-based account: the cost of each trade is in the spread. Raw Spread and Zero are commission accounts: the spread is very tight and you pay a trading commission per lot. This difference also changes how the partner commission — and so your cashback — is generated.

Does Raw Spread commission get cashback?
Your Raw Spread or Zero account earns cashback, but the cashback is not a percentage of the trading commission you pay. It is 90% of the fixed partner commission that Exness pays per lot, per side, for each instrument.
The trading commission you pay goes to Exness as part of your trading cost. The partner commission is a separate amount that Exness pays from its own revenue. Exness sets it per instrument, and it does not depend on the size of the trading commission on your account. That is why Raw Spread and Zero return the same cashback per lot, even though their trading commissions are set differently.
| Instrument | Exness pays the partner (up to, USD per lot, per side) | Your cashback, 90% (up to, USD per lot, per side) |
|---|---|---|
| XAUUSD | $3.00 | $2.70 |
| EURUSD | $0.87 | $0.783 |
For XAUUSD: $3.00 × 90% = $2.70. We keep the other 10%. Nothing is taken from your trading account, and your spreads and commission stay exactly as Exness sets them. For the full picture of how Exness pays partners, read Exness partner commission explained.
Pro: cashback that follows the spread
On Pro there is no trading commission, so Exness pays the partner a share of the spread on each order. When the spread at execution is wider, the partner commission is larger, and so is your cashback. When the spread is tighter, it is smaller. That is why we show Pro figures as "up to": they are the maximum at the top Exness partner tier and at wide spreads.
Standard and Standard Cent work the same way, with different spreads. See Exness Standard vs Standard Cent cashback.
Worked example: 22 trading days
| Daily volume | XAUUSD Pro | XAUUSD Raw Spread / Zero | EURUSD Pro | EURUSD Raw Spread / Zero |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 lot a day | $130 | $59 | $43 | $17 |
| 5 lots a day | $652 | $297 | $213 | $86 |
Up to, per month. How we calculate: cashback per lot × lots per day × 22 trading days, at the maximum per-lot figures above, rounded to whole dollars. For example, $5.93 × 1 lot × 22 days = $130. Examples are illustrative. Try your own volume in the Exness cashback calculator.
Which account returns more?
The published cashback figure for Pro looks higher than for Raw Spread and Zero. That does not make Pro cheaper to trade. On Pro, your cost is in a wider spread; on Raw Spread and Zero, it is a very tight spread plus a trading commission. The cashback is only one part of your total cost.
- Compare the full cost of your usual trade on each account: spread plus any trading commission, minus the cashback.
- Our share does not change with the account type. We return 90% of the partner commission on every account.
- Choose the account that fits your trading — instrument, order size and execution — and let the cashback follow. An account chosen only for a higher rebate can cost more in spread or commission than the extra rebate is worth.

Frequently asked questions
Does Exness Raw Spread get cashback?
Yes. On Raw Spread, Exness pays the partner a fixed amount per lot, per side, for each instrument, and we return 90% of it. For XAUUSD that is up to $2.70 per lot, per side, and for EURUSD up to $0.783.
Is the cashback a percentage of the commission I pay on Raw Spread or Zero?
No. The cashback is 90% of the fixed partner commission Exness pays per lot, per side — up to $3.00 on XAUUSD, which gives up to $2.70 back. It does not depend on the trading commission you pay.
Do Zero and Raw Spread get the same cashback?
Yes. On both accounts the partner commission is a fixed amount per lot, per side, set by Exness for each instrument, so the cashback per lot is the same. The trading commission you pay is set differently on each account, but it does not change the cashback.
Which pays more cashback, Pro or Raw Spread?
For XAUUSD, the published maximum is up to $5.93 per lot on Pro, against up to $2.70 per lot, per side on Raw Spread. The figure for Pro looks higher, but Pro has wider spreads, so compare your total trading cost on each account, not the cashback alone.
Why does my Pro cashback change from trade to trade?
Because on Pro the partner commission is a share of the spread. A wider spread at execution means a larger partner commission and more cashback; a tighter spread means less. The figures we publish are maximums.
