Exness Partner Commission Explained: How Partners Earn and Why Cashback Can Return 90%
Short answer: Exness partners earn a commission that Exness pays from its own revenue on the trades of the clients they refer. On Standard, Standard Cent and Pro accounts it is a share of the spread; on Raw Spread and Zero it is a fixed amount per lot, per side, set by instrument. A cashback service can return 90% because it passes that commission on: we credit 90% to your own trading account and keep 10%. Nothing is taken from your account, and no provider can return more than the commission Exness pays.

Where Exness partner commission comes from
When you trade with Exness, you pay Exness its trading cost: the spread, and on some accounts a commission per lot. Exness runs a partner programme. When a client linked to a partner trades, Exness pays that partner a commission out of its own revenue. How that commission is calculated depends on the account type.
| Account type | What you pay Exness | What Exness pays the partner |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Spread from 0.2 pips, no commission | A share of the spread. It moves with the spread at execution. |
| Standard Cent | Spread from 0.3 pips, no commission. 1 cent lot = 0.01 lot. | A share of the spread, the same as Standard per standard lot. |
| Pro | Spread from 0.1 pips, no commission | A share of the spread. It moves with the spread at execution. |
| Raw Spread | Spread from 0.0 pips, plus a commission of up to 3.50 USD per lot, per side | A fixed amount per lot, per side, by instrument |
| Zero | 0.0 pips on the top 30 instruments about 95% of the time, plus a commission from 0.05 USD per lot, per side | A fixed amount per lot, per side, by instrument |
Account terms from the Exness Help Centre, read 23 September 2026. Exness sets its account terms and the partner commission, and may change them.
On Raw Spread and Zero, the amount Exness pays the partner does not depend on the trading commission you pay. It is fixed per lot, per side, for each instrument. Account-by-account detail: Exness Pro, Raw Spread and Zero cashback and Standard vs Standard Cent cashback.
How money flows: from your trade to your rebate
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1 | You trade and pay Exness the spread, plus the commission on Raw Spread and Zero. These are the same as trading without a partner. |
| 2 | Exness pays the partner a commission on your trade, from its own revenue. |
| 3 | We return 90% of that commission to the trading account that placed the trade, credited once a day as a separate record. |
| 4 | We keep the remaining 10% to run the service. |
Your account is not part of the chain. The rebate is paid out of the partner commission, so your spreads, commissions and trading conditions do not change. The full calculation is on how Exness cashback works.
Exness partner tiers: Common to Brilliant
The Exness partner portal places each partner in a tier. In order, from lowest to highest:
| Order | Tier name |
|---|---|
| 1 | Common |
| 2 | Advanced |
| 3 | Bronze |
| 4 | Silver |
| 5 | Gold |
| 6 | Brilliant |
- Higher tiers pay partners more on the same trade.
- There is no tier called VIP in the Exness partner portal. If a provider says it is at a VIP tier, ask which portal tier that means.
- Exness sets the commission for each tier and may change it, so we do not list tier percentages here.
Partners must also follow the partner programme rules. For example, Exness detects trading accounts opened under a partner's own link (self-referral) and can stop the commission.
How a cashback service returns 90% and keeps 10%
Raw Spread and Zero show the split most clearly, because Exness pays the partner a fixed amount per lot, per side:
| Instrument (Raw Spread and Zero) | Exness pays the partner, per lot, per side | Returned to you (90%) |
|---|---|---|
| XAUUSD | Up to $3.00 | Up to $2.70 |
| EURUSD | Up to $0.87 | Up to $0.783 |
How to read it: up to $3.00 × 90% = up to $2.70 per lot, per side on XAUUSD. The remaining 10% stays with us. On Standard, Standard Cent and Pro the same 90% applies, but the commission itself moves with the spread, so the amount changes from trade to trade.
- Free, with no sign-up fee. No minimum and no cap, from 0.01 lot.
- Credited once a day to your own Exness trading account, the one that traded, as a separate credit record. A UTC day's trades are settled in the next day's calculation.
- Not shown in the profit column of your orders, because it is not attached to any single order.
Why our figures are shown as maximums ("up to")
Every per-lot figure we publish is the highest amount the rebate can reach, not a promise for each trade. Three things set the actual amount:
- Tier: our figures use the commission at the top Exness partner tier.
- Spread: on Standard, Standard Cent and Pro, the commission is a share of the spread, so our figures use the widest spreads. At a tighter spread, the rebate is smaller.
- Exness: Exness sets the partner commission and may change it.
| Account type | XAUUSD maximum, per lot | What it depends on |
|---|---|---|
| Standard and Standard Cent | Up to $15.5 per standard lot | The spread at execution |
| Pro | Up to $5.93 | The spread at execution |
| Raw Spread and Zero | Up to $2.70 per side (90% of up to $3.00) | A fixed amount per lot, per side, set by Exness |
Maximum figures: 90% of the partner commission at the top Exness partner tier; on Standard, Standard Cent and Pro the amount moves with the spread at execution. Exness sets the partner commission and may change it.
What you actually receive is 90% of the commission Exness actually pays on your trades, so it can be lower than these figures. Every credit lands in your own trading account, where you can check it against that day's trades. Try your own volume in the Exness cashback calculator.
Why no provider can return more than the commission
A cashback service has one source of money for your rebate: the partner commission Exness pays on your trades. It can pass on part of that commission, or all of it, but not more. Returning more would mean paying you from another source, which the provider would have to explain.
- A very high flat figure per lot is usually the widest-spread case, a top partner tier, or not explained at all.
- Ask any provider three things: what share of the commission it returns, which account and spread its figure assumes, and how you can check each payout yourself.
- A legit provider never asks for your trading password and never takes deposits.

Frequently asked questions
How do Exness partners earn?
Exness pays partners a commission from its own revenue on the trades of the clients they refer. On Standard, Standard Cent and Pro accounts it is a share of the spread. On Raw Spread and Zero it is a fixed amount per lot, per side, set by instrument. The client's trading conditions stay the same.
Where does the money for cashback come from?
From the partner commission Exness pays on your trades, not from your account. We return 90% of that commission to the trading account that traded and keep 10%. It is credited once a day as a separate record, so you can check it.
What are the Exness partner tiers? Is there a VIP tier?
The Exness partner portal uses six tiers: Common, Advanced, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Brilliant. Higher tiers pay partners more. There is no tier called VIP. Exness sets the commission for each tier and may change it.
Why can a cashback service return 90%?
Because the rebate is the partner commission itself. The service receives the commission Exness pays on your trades, passes 90% to your trading account and keeps 10% to run the service. Your spreads and trading conditions do not change.
Can a provider return more than the commission Exness pays?
No. The partner commission is the only source of the rebate, so a provider can return part of it, but not more. A very high flat figure per lot is usually the widest-spread case, a top partner tier, or not explained. Ask how you can verify each payout.
