Exness Scalping and EA Trading: Is Cashback Paid? (2026)

Short answer: yes. Trades placed by an Expert Advisor (EA) and trades from a scalping strategy earn exactly the same cashback as manual trades, because Exness pays the same partner commission on them. We return 90% of that commission and do not treat EA or scalping volume differently: XAUUSD on Standard returns up to $15.5 per lot, whether the order came from you or from an EA. Exness supports EAs on the MT4 and MT5 desktop terminals, and we could find no scalping restriction published by Exness.

Does Exness allow Expert Advisors and scalping?

Exness supports Expert Advisors. According to the Exness Help Centre, EAs run on the MT4 and MT5 desktop terminals only, on MT4 or MT5 trading accounts, and are written in MQL4 or MQL5. They do not run in web or mobile platforms.

Exness also notes two situations in which an EA may be disabled: when its settings are too aggressive and its requests overload the terminal, and when the account does not have enough funds.

On scalping, we could not find a restriction in the Exness Help Centre when we checked on 10 October 2026, and we could not find an official page that states a specific scalping rule either way. Exness's client agreement and other legal documents set out the trading practices Exness does not allow. Read them on the Exness legal documents page before you run a high-frequency strategy, and ask Exness support if you are unsure about a specific method.

Is cashback paid on EA and scalping trades?

Yes. Cashback on EA and scalping trades is calculated exactly like cashback on manual trades. Exness pays the partner a commission for each lot traded, according to the account type and the instrument. It does not matter who or what placed the order, or how long the position stayed open. We return 90% of that partner commission and keep 10%.

Account typeXAUUSD (up to)EURUSD (up to)GBPUSD (up to)
Standard and Standard Cent (per standard lot)$15.5$4.77$5.94
Pro (per lot)$5.93$1.94$2.28
Raw Spread and Zero (per lot, per side)$2.70$0.783$1.008

Maximum figures: 90% of the partner commission at the top Exness partner tier; on Standard, Standard Cent and Pro the amount moves with the spread at execution. Exness sets the partner commission and may change it. The same figures apply to manual, EA and scalping trades. Other instruments: Exness cashback calculator.

On Standard, Standard Cent and Pro, the partner commission is a share of the spread. On Raw Spread and Zero, it is a fixed amount per lot, per side, for each instrument. The full explanation is in Exness Pro vs Raw Spread vs Zero cashback.

How cashback is counted on short, frequent trades

Scalping and EA strategies often produce many small trades. The cashback rules are the same as for any other trading:

If you run several EAs on several trading accounts, each account earns its own cashback, credited to that account. For dates and examples, see when and where your cashback appears.

Worked example: a high-frequency 0.1-lot style

Take a strategy that opens and closes many trades of 0.1 lot each day. Each 0.1-lot trade returns up to one tenth of the per-lot figure — on XAUUSD Standard, up to one tenth of $15.5. What matters for the monthly total is the daily volume: the number of trades × 0.1 lot.

Trades of 0.1 lot a dayDaily volumeXAUUSD StandardEURUSD StandardXAUUSD Pro
10 trades1 lot$341$105$130
20 trades2 lots$682$210$261
50 trades5 lots$1,705$525$652

Up to, per month. How we calculate: number of trades × 0.1 lot = lots per day, then cashback per lot × lots per day × 22 trading days, at the maximum per-lot figures, rounded to whole dollars. For example, 20 trades × 0.1 lot = 2 lots a day, and $15.5 × 2 lots × 22 days = $682. Examples are illustrative, not a forecast. Try your own volume in the Exness cashback calculator.

The same volume earns the same cashback whether it comes from 20 small trades or 2 large ones. The cashback does not reward trading more often; it only follows the lots you trade. To see how lot sizes and pip values work, read Exness lot size explained.

Which account type suits scalping cashback?

There is no single answer, and cashback should not be the reason you choose. For short trades, the trading cost per trade matters more than for long ones, because a small target leaves little room for the spread and any commission.

For the cost side, see Exness spreads and fees after cashback and Exness account types and cashback rates.

Does cashback change my spreads or execution?

No. The cashback is paid from the partner commission Exness pays us, not from your trading account. Your spreads, commissions, execution and trading conditions stay exactly as Exness sets them, on every account under our partnership.

We never have access to your funds or your trading account. We do not place, change or close trades, and we do not see or control your EA. All trading services are provided directly by Exness.

Do not over-trade to earn cashback

Cashback returns part of a cost you have already paid. On Standard and Standard Cent, even the maximum cashback is up to 36% of Exness spread revenue, and on Pro up to 22.5%. The rest of the spread is still a cost to you. On Raw Spread and Zero, compare the cashback with the spread and commission you pay on your instrument.

Judge a strategy on its results after costs, before any cashback. If it does not work without the cashback, the cashback will not fix it.

Setting up cashback for EA or scalping accounts

Keep in mind: Cashback lowers your trading costs; it does not make trading profitable. Scalping and automated trading can lose money quickly. Trading Forex and CFDs carries a high risk of loss.

Frequently asked questions

Do Exness EA trades get cashback?

Yes. Trades placed by an Expert Advisor earn the same cashback as manual trades, because Exness pays the same partner commission on them. XAUUSD on Standard returns up to $15.5 per lot.

Is scalping allowed on Exness?

We could not find a scalping restriction in the Exness Help Centre when we checked on 10 October 2026. Exness sets out the trading practices it does not allow in its client agreement and legal documents, so read those and ask Exness support about your specific method. We are not Exness and cannot confirm this on its behalf.

Is cashback lower for scalping or short trades?

No. Cashback follows the lots you trade, not how long a position stays open. Ten trades of 0.1 lot return the same cashback as one trade of 1 lot on the same account type and instrument.

When is cashback for EA trades credited?

Once a day. Trades closed on one UTC day are settled in the next day's calculation, and the cashback is credited to the trading account that traded as a separate credit record, not inside each order.

Should I trade more to earn more cashback?

No. Cashback returns only part of the spread you pay — at most 36% of Exness spread revenue on Standard and 22.5% on Pro — so an extra trade you would not otherwise make still costs you money. More volume also means more risk. Trade only what your strategy calls for.
