Exness Change Partner — How to Switch the Right Way

Changing partner on Exness is one live-chat request. The part most traders miss comes after it: the switch applies to new trading accounts only. This page covers what to send, what the approval email means, what to do next — and how to check the result yourself.

How a partner change actually works

A partner change is made at profile level, and it only works forward. Exness records one partner for your Personal Area. When you switch, Exness links every trading account you open after the approval to the new partner. Accounts you already have stay where they are — permanently.

The one rule to remember: the approval email from Exness is the dividing line. Accounts opened before it stay with the previous partner; accounts opened after it belong to the new one. That is why the order matters — request, wait for the email, then open the new account.

The request, step by step

The request goes through Exness itself — its live chat in your Personal Area — not through any partner. No partner can switch you on your behalf. Three steps:

Two real cases from our support inbox, anonymised: one trader switched but kept trading on accounts opened earlier, and nothing appeared under the new partner — the fix was a new account. Another opened a new account right after the approval email, and it appeared under our partnership within six minutes.

Which account should you open after the switch? Cashback works on all five — compare them on Exness account types and cashback per lot.

How to start — three steps

  1. Open an Exness account through our official partner link — or, if you already use Exness, switch partner in Exness live chat and open a new trading account after the confirmation email
  2. Verify your account with Exness as usual
  3. Check your connection on our status checker — rebates run from your first qualifying trade

Frequently asked questions

How do I change my partner on Exness?

Open live chat in your Exness Personal Area and ask for a partner change to the new Partner ID — ours is 1165839811704103137. Exness confirms by email once the change is approved.

Why didn't my existing account move to the new partner?

Because a partner change works at profile level and only going forward. Accounts opened before Exness's approval email stay with the previous partner permanently; only accounts opened after it are linked to the new one.

What should I do after the approval email?

Open a new trading account in your Personal Area. Exness recommends logging out and back in first so it shows the updated partner. The new account is linked automatically — nothing else to request.

Does it affect my funds or trading?

For our partnership, check the account number in our status checker — a new account under us appears within minutes. For any partner, ask Exness support: "Which Partner ID is account #X assigned to?"

Does changing partner affect my funds or trading conditions?

No. Funds, open positions, spreads, execution and account terms stay exactly the same. The only thing that changes is which partner Exness pays commission to on your new accounts. A rebate reduces your cost; it does not guarantee profit.
