Exness IB Stopped Paying Your Rebate or Changed the Rate? What You Can Do

Short answer: check your own records first, then ask the person you agreed the rebate with, in writing, what changed. A private rebate arrangement is between you and that person, so a new partner cannot recover past payments for you. What you can change is your future trading: ask Exness live chat for a partner change, wait for the confirmation email, and open a new trading account in the same Exness profile. Then choose a provider whose share is published and paid into your own trading account, so you can check every payment yourself.

About this page: OG Cashback is a rebate service that works through the Exness partner program, so we benefit if you move your trading to us. The steps below work the same way whichever partner you choose, and nothing here is a judgement about any person or provider.

Why a rebate can stop or change

A stopped or smaller rebate is not, by itself, a sign of bad intent. Several ordinary things can cause it, and most of them you can check yourself. Every rebate, whoever pays it, comes from the commission Exness pays a partner on your trades. An individual IB who shares part of that commission with you sets the terms privately, so the reason is not always visible from your side.

Possible reasonWhat you can check
The account you trade on is not assigned to that partner, for example because it was opened through a different link or before a partner change.Ask Exness support: "Which Partner ID is trading account #X assigned to?"
The partner commission Exness pays that person changed, so a fixed amount per lot no longer fits their terms.Ask whether your rebate was agreed as a fixed amount per lot or as a share of their commission.
The terms were never written down, so each side remembers them differently.Look for the original message where the rate was agreed.
A payment was delayed or calculated on the wrong period.Compare your trading dates with the dates and amounts you received.
The person stopped offering rebates.Ask them directly, in writing, whether the arrangement has ended.

Knowing which of these applies tells you what to do next: ask for a correction, accept new terms, or move your future trading elsewhere.

Step 1: Check your own records first

Before you contact anyone, put the facts in one place. A clear record makes the conversation short and calm, and it protects you if the details are disputed later.

What to noteWhere to find it
The trading account numbers you traded onYour Exness Personal Area or your trading platform
Lots traded in each period you expected a payment forYour trade history on the platform
Every rebate payment received: date, amount and where it arrivedThe account, wallet or bank record where you were paid
The terms you agreed: rate, payment frequency, payment methodYour chat or email history with that person
Which partner each trading account is assigned toExness support, asked per trading account

Ask Exness about each trading account, not about your profile in general. A partner change applies to your profile going forward, so the profile answer does not tell you where an older account belongs.

If you find that the account you traded on was never assigned to that person, the missing rebate may simply have no source. In that case there is nothing to dispute, and the fix is the partner change described below.

Step 2: Ask the person in writing

Write a short, factual message. Give the account number, the period, what you expected under the agreed terms and what you received. Then ask one clear question: will the missing amount be paid, and what are the terms from now on? For example:

"Hello, for trading account #X, I traded N lots between [start date] and [end date]. Under the rate we agreed, I expected a rebate for that period, and I have not received it. Could you confirm whether it will be paid, and what the terms are from [next month]?"

Keep a copy of the message and the reply. Give a reasonable time to answer, because a delay can have an ordinary cause. Do not send your trading password, login details or any extra payment to "release" a rebate. If anyone asks for these before paying, do not proceed.

What Exness can and cannot help with

Exness runs the partner program and pays partners a commission on their clients' trades. It can confirm which partner a trading account is assigned to, and it processes partner changes that you request in live chat, with a confirmation email.

A private rebate arrangement is different. The rate, the timing and the payment method were agreed between you and that person, outside your Exness account. We have no basis to say that Exness reviews or enforces such arrangements, so do not plan on it. For questions about the private terms, the person you agreed them with is the one to ask.

One thing does not depend on any partner: your trading conditions. Spreads, execution and account terms are the same whoever your partner is, and a rebate is paid from the partner commission, not from your account.

Step 3: Move your future trading to another partner

You cannot move past trades or past payments, but you can choose who receives the partner commission on your future trades. The process runs through Exness, not through any partner, and you keep the same Exness profile.

The full process, with the approval email explained, is on how to change your Exness partner. If a new account does not appear, see Exness partner change not showing.

Step 4: Choose a provider whose terms you can check

Every rebate provider, including an individual IB and including us, works through the Exness partner program. The difference is how the service is run. After a payment problem, the useful question is: can I check the terms and the payments myself, without asking anyone?

Look for a public Partner ID you can verify with Exness, a share that is published and the same for every client, payment into your own trading account, and support you can reach in writing. Our checklist, how to choose an Exness rebate service, covers eight checks and the red flags. For a side-by-side view, read Exness IB vs rebate service.

How OG Cashback works on these points:

PointOG Cashback
Who runs itA rebate service run by a team. The website is available in 12 languages
Rebate termsA fixed 90% of the partner commission, the same for every client, never adjusted case by case
PaymentAutomatically, once a day, into your own Exness trading account as a separate credit record; we never hold client funds
VerificationPublic Partner ID and a free status checker. If you leave your email in the status checker, we email you when the account is connected
CostFree, no minimum, from 0.01 lot
Other productsNone: no signals, no account management, no investment advice

Because the share is published, you can estimate the rebate yourself and compare it with the daily credits in your account. For example, trading 1 lot of XAUUSD a day on a Standard account for 22 trading days: up to $15.5 × 1 lot × 22 days = up to $341 a month. That is the XAUUSD Standard maximum, at the widest spread we have seen paid; at a tighter spread the amount is smaller. Try your own volume in the Exness cashback calculator.

What "fixed" means here: the 90% share is fixed. The dollar amount per lot is not, because it depends on the spread of each trade and on the partner commission Exness pays us. If Exness changes the commission it pays us, the per-lot amount changes, but the 90% share does not. How the commission itself is set is explained in Exness partner commission explained.

Keep in mind: Cashback lowers your trading costs; it does not make trading profitable. Trading Forex and CFDs carries a high risk of loss. Do not trade more only to earn a rebate.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get unpaid rebates back?

It depends on the arrangement you made and on the person you made it with. Ask them in writing, with your account number, the period and the amounts. A private arrangement is between you and that person, so we cannot recover past rebates, and a partner change does not move past payments.

Will changing partner affect my funds or open positions?

No. Your funds, open positions, spreads, execution and account terms stay the same. Existing trading accounts stay with the previous partner permanently, and only trading accounts opened after Exness's confirmation email are linked to the new partner.

How long does a partner change take?

Exness confirms the change by email, and we cannot promise a fixed time for that. Open your new trading account only after the email arrives. With us, a connected account then shows in the status checker within minutes.

Do I need to register a new Exness profile?

No. You keep the same Exness profile and open a new trading account in it after the confirmation email. You can move funds from an old account with an internal transfer in your Personal Area.

Can my rebate share with OG Cashback change?

The 90% share is fixed, published and the same for every client, and it is not adjusted case by case. The amount per lot depends on the spread of each trade and on the partner commission Exness pays us. If Exness changes that commission, the per-lot amount changes, but the 90% share does not.
