Exness Standard vs Standard Cent: Differences and Cashback
Short answer: Standard and Standard Cent work the same way — no trading commission, and the partner commission comes from the spread — but Standard Cent uses cent lots (1 cent lot = 0.01 lot) and a spread from 0.3 pips instead of 0.2 pips. Cashback is the same per standard lot on both accounts: XAUUSD returns up to $15.5 per lot. Because 1 cent lot is 0.01 lot, one cent lot returns one hundredth of the per-lot figure.

Cashback per lot: the same on both accounts
We return 90% of the partner commission that Exness pays on your trades. On Standard and Standard Cent that commission is a share of the spread, and Exness pays it at the same rate per standard lot on both accounts. So the table below applies to both. The only step for a cent account is converting cent lots into standard lots.
| Instrument | Standard (up to, USD per lot) | Standard Cent (up to, USD per 100 cent lots) | 1 cent lot (0.01 lot) |
|---|---|---|---|
| XAUUSD | $15.5 | $15.5 | One hundredth of the per-lot figure |
| EURUSD | $4.77 | $4.77 | One hundredth of the per-lot figure |
| GBPUSD | $5.94 | $5.94 | One hundredth of the per-lot figure |
| BTCUSD | $5.96 | $5.96 | One hundredth of the per-lot figure — BTCUSDc is available on MT5 only |
Maximum figures: 90% of the partner commission at the top Exness partner tier; on Standard, Standard Cent and Pro the amount moves with the spread at execution. Exness sets the partner commission and may change it. Other instruments and account types: Exness cashback calculator.
How the cent-lot division works
A cent lot is one hundredth of a standard lot. The cashback follows the volume, not the name of the lot, so you convert first and then use the per-lot figure.
- 1 cent lot is 0.01 lot, so it returns one hundredth of the per-lot figure in the table above.
- 100 cent lots of XAUUSD equal 1 lot, so they return up to $15.5 — the same as 1 lot on Standard.
- 0.01 lot on Standard and 1 cent lot on Standard Cent are the same volume, so they return the same amount.
In the calculator, enter your Standard Cent volume in standard lots: divide your cent lots by 100.
Worked example: 22 trading days
These examples use the same volume on each account. On Standard Cent, 100 cent lots a day is the same volume as 1 lot a day on Standard.
| Daily volume | XAUUSD (up to, per month) | EURUSD (up to, per month) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 lot a day on Standard, or 100 cent lots a day on Standard Cent | $341 | $105 |
| 5 lots a day on Standard, or 500 cent lots a day on Standard Cent | $1,705 | $525 |
How we calculate: cashback per lot × lots per day × 22 trading days, at the maximum per-lot figures above, rounded to whole dollars. For example, $15.5 × 1 lot × 22 days = $341. Examples are illustrative; real amounts move with the spread at execution.
Which account suits whom?
The account type does not change our share: we return 90% of the partner commission on both. Choose the account that fits the way you trade, and let the cashback follow.
- Standard Cent may suit you if you want to trade very small sizes — for example, to try a strategy or an automated system with a small balance before trading larger volume.
- Standard may suit you if you trade in standard-lot sizes, or if you need oil, indices or stocks, which are not available on a cent account.
- On both, the cashback per standard lot is the same. A cent account does not earn more or less for the same volume.

Getting cashback on either account
- New to Exness: open your Exness profile through our link, then open a Standard or Standard Cent trading account.
- Already with Exness: ask Exness live chat for a partner change to our Partner ID. After Exness's confirmation email, open a new trading account. Accounts opened before that email stay with your previous partner.
- Check that the new account is connected with the free Exness rebate checker. A connected account shows up within minutes; if it is not found after about 30 minutes, it is not under us.
- The cashback is credited once a day to the trading account that traded, as a separate record — not in the profit of each order. See when and where your cashback appears.

Frequently asked questions
Is Exness cashback the same on Standard and Standard Cent?
Yes, for the same volume. On both accounts the partner commission is a share of the spread, and it is the same per standard lot. We return 90% of it. For example, XAUUSD returns up to $15.5 per standard lot on either account.
How much cashback does 1 cent lot return?
One hundredth of the per-lot figure, because 1 cent lot is 0.01 lot. For XAUUSD the per-lot figure is up to $15.5, so 100 cent lots return up to that amount and one cent lot returns one hundredth of it.
What is the difference between Exness Standard and Standard Cent?
Standard Cent uses cent lots (1 cent lot = 0.01 lot) and has a spread from 0.3 pips; Standard uses standard lots and has a spread from 0.2 pips. Neither charges a trading commission, and the minimum deposit on both varies by payment method. Standard Cent covers Forex (26 pairs), gold, silver and, on MT5 only, BTCUSD and ETHUSD; it has no oil, indices or stocks, which are available on Standard.
Can I get cashback on my existing Standard Cent account?
Only if it was opened after Exness confirmed your partner change to us. Ask Exness live chat for a partner change to our Partner ID; after the confirmation email, open a new Standard Cent account. Accounts opened before that email stay with your previous partner.
Is there a minimum volume for cashback on a cent account?
No. There is no minimum volume and no cap, and the service is free. Very small cent-lot trades produce very small amounts, and the credited amount can differ slightly from your own calculation because of rounding.
