Exness Cent Account Explained (2026): Cashback, Lots, Who It's For
Short answer: the Exness cent account is the Standard Cent account, where you trade in cent lots and 1 cent lot equals 0.01 standard lot, so you can place very small trades with a small balance. It has no trading commission and its spread starts from 0.3 pips. It earns the same cashback per standard lot as a Standard account: 100 cent lots of XAUUSD return up to $15.5, the same as 1 lot on Standard.

What is an Exness cent account?
Exness offers five account types: Standard, Standard Cent, Pro, Raw Spread and Zero. Standard Cent is the cent account. It works like Standard — the cost of each trade is in the spread, and there is no separate trading commission — but everything is measured in smaller units.
Three things look different when you open a cent account for the first time:
- Your balance is shown in US cents (USC), not in dollars. If you deposit USD 10, your cent account shows 1,000 USC.
- Volume is entered in cent lots. One cent lot is one hundredth of a standard lot, so 100 cent lots equal 1 standard lot.
- Cent instruments carry a "c" at the end of the symbol, for example EURUSDc or XAUUSDc. This tells you that you are trading the cent version.
The point of the cent account is size. Because each cent lot is small, a beginner can trade real money with a small balance and see how spreads, margin and price moves work before trading in standard lots. Small sizes do not remove risk: a cent account is a real account, and losses are real.
| Feature | Standard Cent |
|---|---|
| Unit of volume | Cent lots: 1 cent lot = 0.01 standard lot |
| Balance shown in | US cents (USC): USD 1 = 100 USC |
| Symbols | A "c" suffix, for example EURUSDc and XAUUSDc |
| Spread from | 0.3 pips |
| Trading commission | None |
| Minimum deposit | Set by the payment method and your region (see below) |
| Instruments | Forex, gold and silver, plus some crypto on MT5; no oil, indices or stocks |
| Platforms | MT4 or MT5, chosen when you open the account |
| Cashback | 90% of the partner commission, the same per standard lot as Standard |

Cent lot vs standard lot: what is the difference?
A cent lot is one hundredth of a standard lot. The price moves in the same way on both accounts; only the size of the position changes. Exness publishes the contract size of 1 standard lot for each instrument. For EURUSD it is 100,000 units of the base currency, and for XAUUSD (gold) it is 100 troy ounces, as published by Exness on 10 October 2026. A cent lot is one hundredth of that.
| Cent lots | Standard lots | EURUSD position | XAUUSD position |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0.01 | 1,000 EUR | 1 oz |
| 10 | 0.1 | 10,000 EUR | 10 oz |
| 100 | 1 | 100,000 EUR | 100 oz |
Here is what that means for price moves. On EURUSD, one pip is 0.0001. On 1 standard lot, a one-pip move is worth 10 USD (100,000 × 0.0001). On 1 cent lot it is worth 0.10 USD, which your cent account shows as 10 USC. On gold, a 1 USD move in the price of XAUUSD changes the value of 1 cent lot (1 oz) by 1 USD, or 100 USC.

What is the minimum deposit for a cent account?
Exness does not set one fixed minimum for the Standard Cent account. The minimum is the first-deposit minimum of the payment method you choose, and it can differ by payment method and by country, as published by Exness on 10 October 2026. The exact figure is shown in your Exness Personal Area when you choose how to deposit.
An example: for clients in Thailand, Exness set the minimum deposit for Standard and Standard Cent at USD 10, effective 21 September 2026. Pro, Raw Spread and Zero in Thailand start from USD 200. Other countries can have different figures.
Check the current value in your Exness Personal Area or the Exness Help Centre before relying on it. Deposit rules for every account type: Exness minimum deposit by account type and country.
There is no minimum for cashback. Our service has no minimum deposit, no minimum volume and no cap.
Does the Exness cent account get cashback?
Yes. Standard Cent earns the same cashback per standard lot as Standard. On both accounts, the partner commission Exness pays is a share of the spread, up to 36% of Exness's spread revenue. We return 90% of that partner commission to you and keep 10%. It is paid from the partner commission, not from your account, and your spreads stay exactly as Exness sets them.
Because the cashback follows volume, not the name of the lot, the only step on a cent account is to convert cent lots into standard lots. The table shows the cashback for 100 cent lots, which is 1 standard lot.
| Instrument | Standard Cent (up to, USD per 100 cent lots) | Standard (up to, USD per lot) |
|---|---|---|
| XAUUSD | $15.5 | $15.5 |
| EURUSD | $4.77 | $4.77 |
| GBPUSD | $5.94 | $5.94 |
| BTCUSD (MT5 only on Standard Cent) | $5.96 | $5.96 |
Maximum figures: 90% of the partner commission at the top Exness partner tier; on Standard and Standard Cent the amount moves with the spread at execution. Exness sets the partner commission and may change it. Side-by-side detail: Exness Standard vs Standard Cent cashback.
Worked example: 10 cent lots
Say you trade 10 cent lots of XAUUSD on a cent account. Convert first, then multiply by the per-lot figure.
- Step 1: 10 cent lots ÷ 100 = 0.1 standard lot.
- Step 2: 0.1 lot × up to $15.5 per lot = up to $1.55 cashback for that volume on XAUUSD.
- The same 10 cent lots on EURUSD: 0.1 lot × up to $4.77 per lot = up to $0.477.
Over a month, the same arithmetic gives these figures:
| Daily volume on Standard Cent | Same as | XAUUSD (up to, per month) | EURUSD (up to, per month) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 cent lots a day | 0.1 lot a day | $34 | $10 |
| 100 cent lots a day | 1 lot a day | $341 | $105 |
How we calculate: cashback per lot × standard lots per day × 22 trading days, at the maximum per-lot figures above, rounded to whole dollars. For example, $15.5 × 0.1 lot × 22 days = $34. Examples are illustrative; real amounts move with the spread at execution, and very small trades can be affected by rounding.
How to use the cashback calculator for a cent account
The Exness cashback calculator works in standard lots. To use it for a cent account:
- Choose "Standard Cent" as the account type.
- Choose an instrument that the cent account offers, such as XAUUSD or EURUSD. USOIL and US30 are not available on Standard Cent.
- Enter your daily volume in standard lots: divide your cent lots by 100. For example, 25 cent lots a day is 0.25 lot a day.
- Enter the number of days you trade in a month. The result is a maximum figure, not a promise.
Who is the cent account for?
The account type does not change our share: we return 90% of the partner commission on every account. Choose the account that fits the way you trade, and let the cashback follow.
- It may suit you if you are new to trading and want to learn with very small positions on a real account, after practising on a demo account.
- It may suit you if you want to test a strategy or an Expert Advisor with a small balance before trading larger volume. Exness runs Expert Advisors on the MT4 and MT5 desktop terminals.
- It may not suit you if you need oil, indices or stocks, which are not on the cent account, or if you already trade in standard-lot sizes. In that case, a Standard account is simpler.
- It does not earn more or less cashback for the same volume. 1 cent lot and 0.01 lot on Standard are the same volume and return the same amount.
A small account still uses leverage, and leverage multiplies losses as well as gains. Read Exness leverage explained before you choose a leverage setting. To compare every account type side by side, see Exness account types and cashback rates.
Getting cashback on a cent account
- New to Exness: open your Exness profile through our link, then open a Standard Cent trading account. See how to open an Exness account.
- Already with Exness: ask Exness live chat for a partner change to our Partner ID. After Exness's confirmation email, open a new trading account. Accounts opened before that email stay with your previous partner. Full steps: how to change your Exness partner.
- Check that the new account is connected with the free Exness rebate checker. A connected account shows up within minutes; if it is not found after about 30 minutes, it is not under us. MT5 account numbers under our partnership have 9 digits and MT4 numbers have 8, so check that no digit is missing.
- The cashback is credited once a day to the trading account that traded, as a separate record — not in the profit of each order. See when and where your cashback appears.
The service is free, with no minimum volume and no cap.
Keep in mind: Cashback lowers your trading costs; it does not make trading profitable. Trading Forex and CFDs carries a high risk of loss, on a cent account as on any other.

How do I use a cashback calculator for a cent account?
