XAUUSD cashback per lot, by account type
The amount per lot depends on the account type, because Exness pays the partner commission differently on each one. Our share is the same on every account: 90% of the partner commission.
| Account type | Up to, USD per lot | How the amount is set |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $15.5 | A share of the spread. It moves with the spread at execution. |
| Standard Cent | $15.5 | Same as Standard, per standard lot. 100 cent lots = 1 lot. |
| Pro | $5.93 | A share of the spread. It moves with the spread at execution. |
| Raw Spread | $2.70 | A fixed amount per lot, per side, set by Exness for XAUUSD. |
| Zero | $2.70 | A fixed amount per lot, per side, set by Exness for XAUUSD. |
Maximum figures: 90% of the partner commission at the top Exness partner tier; on Standard, Standard Cent and Pro the amount moves with the spread at execution. Exness sets the partner commission and may change it.
On Raw Spread and Zero, Exness pays the partner up to $3.00 per lot, per side on XAUUSD. We return 90% of it: up to $2.70. This amount does not depend on the trading commission you pay Exness on these accounts. To compare every instrument, see the Exness cashback calculator.
Why gold earns more per lot on spread accounts
Standard, Standard Cent and Pro accounts charge no separate trading commission. Exness earns from the spread, and the partner commission is a share of that spread.
On gold, the spread measured in dollars per lot is usually much wider than on major currency pairs. A wider spread in dollars per lot means a larger partner commission, so the 90% we return is larger too. That is why XAUUSD returns up to $15.5 per lot on Standard, while EURUSD returns up to $4.77.
The other side of this: a wider spread also means gold costs more to trade per lot. The cashback returns part of that cost, never all of it. A higher cashback per lot is not a reason to trade gold or to choose one account over another. Forex figures are on Exness forex cashback.
Monthly examples: XAUUSD at 1, 5 and 10 lots a day
| Volume | Standard & Standard Cent | Pro | Raw Spread & Zero |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 lot a day | $341 | $130 | $59 |
| 5 lots a day | $1,705 | $652 | $297 |
| 10 lots a day | $3,410 | $1,305 | $594 |
Up to, per month, over 22 trading days: cashback per lot × lots per day × 22. Example on Standard: $15.5 × 1 lot × 22 days = $341. Raw Spread and Zero use the per-side figure × lots, as in our calculator. Examples are rounded and illustrative.

What moves your gold cashback
- Spread at execution — on Standard, Standard Cent and Pro, the cashback is a share of the spread. A tighter spread means less back per lot; a wider spread means more. The figures on this page are maximums.
- News and volatility — gold spreads can widen around major economic releases and in fast markets. The cashback per lot rises with the spread, but so does your trading cost, and the cashback returns only part of it.
- Account type — on Raw Spread and Zero the amount is fixed per lot, per side, whatever the spread. On Standard, Standard Cent and Pro it follows the spread.
- Partner rates — Exness sets the partner commission and may change it. We update our published rates when it does.
- Rounding and account currency — the amount credited can differ slightly from your own calculation.

Cashback on other instruments
Gold usually returns the most per lot, but every instrument earns cashback. See forex cashback on EURUSD, GBPUSD and USDJPY, bitcoin cashback on BTCUSD and oil and indices cashback on USOIL and US30.
Keep in mind: Cashback lowers your trading costs; it does not make trading profitable. Trading Forex and CFDs, including gold, carries a high risk of loss.
Frequently asked questions
How much cashback do I get per lot of XAUUSD on Exness?
Up to $15.5 per lot on Standard and Standard Cent, up to $5.93 on Pro, and up to $2.70 per lot, per side on Raw Spread and Zero. These are maximum figures: 90% of the partner commission at the top Exness partner tier. On Standard, Standard Cent and Pro the amount moves with the spread at execution.
Why is gold cashback higher than forex cashback?
On Standard, Standard Cent and Pro the partner commission is a share of the spread. The gold spread in dollars per lot is usually wider than on major currency pairs, so the commission, and the 90% we return, is larger per lot. It also means gold costs more to trade per lot. The cashback returns only part of that cost.
Does Standard Cent earn the same gold cashback as Standard?
Yes, per standard lot. One cent lot is 0.01 lot, so 100 cent lots of XAUUSD earn the same cashback as 1 lot on a Standard account.
Does the commission I pay on Raw Spread or Zero change my gold cashback?
No. On Raw Spread and Zero, Exness pays the partner a fixed amount per lot, per side on XAUUSD, up to $3.00. We return 90% of it, up to $2.70. It does not depend on the trading commission you pay Exness.
When is gold cashback paid?
Once a day. A UTC day's trades are settled in the next day's calculation and then credited to the Exness trading account that traded, as a separate credit record. It does not appear in the profit column of your orders. There is no minimum volume and no cap.
